- Family/Medical Leave Notification – Please send notification of FMLA to the Dean’s Office via the Family/Medical Leave Notification Form [DocuSign form]; AND apply for leave on the OneSource Self Service Portal, directions are found HERE.
- Faculty Transition to Retirement Program (FTTRP) – The FTTRP is a faculty voluntary transition program .FTTRP application forms must be completed by faculty and received by the Dean on or before 4:30 p.m. on April 1, 2026. Faculty members who meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the FTTRP will have an opportunity to apply to participate in the FTTRP. Participating faculty members will relinquish their tenure by way of retirement in exchange for a term contract as set forth in the FTTRP. Aligned and non-aligned full-time tenured faculty members meeting the following minimum eligibility requirements may apply to the FTTRP:

- Member of the Alternate Benefit Program
- At least 59½ years of age on June 30 of the year in which the application is made
- At least 10 years of service at Rutgers (inclusive of service at UMDNJ) on June 30 of the year in which the application is made (service for both full semesters of the academic year shall constitute one year of service)

Faculty Personnel Actions
- Faculty Retirement: Faculty retiring should advise their Department Chair of plans, then submit formal notification via email to the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs – utilizing the Retirement Notice Form (DocuSign Form or PDF form)

- The Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs will work with the Director of Administrative Operations and Dean of FASC to plan for any replacement of faculty as needed. Upon finalization, the Dean of FASC will provide the faculty member a letter acknowledging planned retirement for their records.
