Ms. Cohen Kallan is currently a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at Temple University, where she has a University Fellowship. She is completing her dissertation this semester, on the topic of the parental experience of having a baby in neonatal intensive care. She has taught Introduction to Sociology at Rutgers-Camden since 2011, and also teaches courses in Sociological Methods, Sociology of the Family, and Medical Sociology. Her research interests include the sociology of pregnancy and childbirth, and well as gender studies. She has previously taught at Temple University and LaSalle University.
