As a part of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion‘s Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Center, they annually acknowledge the National Day of Racial Healing, a time to contemplate our shared values and create a blueprint together for #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism. Through the practice of storytelling, we begin to reconcile racial trauma by changing the narratives that have led to racism, racial injustice, inequities and discrimination. On January 16, at 12:45 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Campus Center, the National Day of Racial Healing, we invite our community to participate in an intimate fireside chat with Jeffery Robinson the executive director of the “Who We Are Project” and star of the Netflix special “Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America.” Please click here to register.
