Please join us in welcoming two new staff members to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers–Camden!

Katy Resch joins the Rutgers Camden Center for the Arts (RCCA) as Assistant Director. Katy earned her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Virginia Commonwealth University and her MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Brooklyn College. Katy’s extensive background includes arts management, philanthropy, arts education, and grants. Katy’s recent position provided leadership for the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, a non-for-profit organization providing arts programming in the city of Richmond, Virginia. She has also taught and developed student programming as Visiting Assistant Professor of Fiction Writing in the Creative Writing M.F.A. program at Virginia Commonwealth University.

As Assistant Director, Katy will be supporting Dr. Cyril Reade, Director of RCCA in the management and organization of RCCA’s projects, programs, and activities.

 

Madison Mulcahy joins the Department of Chemistry as Supervisor, Laboratory Operations. Madison is a CCAS and GSC Rutgers–Camden alumna- having completed both her B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry. Madison has experience working in laboratories, as well as service as a co-adjunct, lecturer, and research assistant with FASC.

In her role, Madison will support the Department of Chemistry in providing overall management of the laboratories and associated processes.
