The Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish program will continue its lecture series in applied linguistics on Wednesday, November 8th. Dr. Kara Moranski of the University of Cincinnati will present, “Flipping the Foreign Language Classroom: Considerations for Active Learning,” which will explore the unique relationship between classroom foreign language instruction and active learning models, highlighting how these models promote contemporary best practices grounded in both sociocultural and cognitive theoretical frameworks of language learning.
