The Department of History, the Gender Studies Program, the Rutgers-Camden Honors College, and the Alice Paul Institute will co-host the event, “Women and Politics: Then and Now.” This free, virtual event will commemorate the centennial of women’s right to vote, and will examine the current status of women and politics coming out of the 2020 election. 

The following panelists will be featured: Dr. Nicole Belolan, Public Historian in Residence at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities (MARCH), Dr. Kelly Dittmar, Associate Professor of Political Science, Lucy Beard, Executive Director of the Alice Paul Institute, and Tania Martinez, president of the College Democrats. Dr. Lee Ann Westman, Director of the Honors College, will moderate.
