The Rutgers–Camden Theater Program will perform “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” from April 10-14. An eclectic group of six young overachievers vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime, while candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives. Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, this musical will charm audiences with its quirky wit. The New York Times dubbed it “effortlessly endearing!” This musical is directed and choreographed by Ellie Mooney, Lecturer of Theater.
