Odili Donald Odita, Professor in Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, will give the final lecture of the Visiting Artists’ Program fall program, “Professional Practices.” Professor Odita has exhibited work at the 52nd Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition, the Dakar Biennale of Contemporary African Art, among others.  He has served as a critic for Flash Art International and a consulting editor and writer for NKA, Journal of Contemporary African Art. 

This event is co-sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor and the Department of Fine Arts.  It will begin on Tuesday, November 6, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and a presentation at 6 p.m. in the Fine Arts Complex, Black Box Studio.  All are welcome to this free event.
