As part of the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts’ new exhibition, “George Segal in Black and White,” Dr. Elizabeth Pilliod, Visiting Professor of Art History, will offer the lecture, “Inside George Segal and the World of Casts.”  The event takes place on Monday, October 17th, at 1:15 p.m. in the Stedman Gallery.    

The exhibition, which is open until December 10th, features black and white drawings, fragments, and sculptures of Segal, a renowned American sculptor and graduate of Rutgers–New Brunswick, will be on display.  Additionally, there will be an accompanying exhibit called “George Segal in Black and White: Photographs by Donald Lokuta,” which are pictures of Segal at work in his studio. 

This exhibit, located in the Stedman Gallery, is free and open to all.  The gallery is open Monday – Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings.
