Join us on Dec. 15 for RU Messengers Concert

On Saturday, December 15, join us for a free concert called “RU Messengers,” an evening of small and large ensembles with big sound. This concert is under the direction of Jojo Streater, Lecturer of Music, and Stefán Örn Arnarnson, Instructor of Music.  This concert is free and open to the public. 

The Madrigal Ensemble Will Perform on Dec. 5

The Madrigal Ensemble will perform the delights of high baroque on Wednesday, December 5, at 11:20 a.m. in the Mallery Room, Fine Arts Building 224. This ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Julianne Baird, Distinguished Professor of Music.  This concert is free and open to the public. 

Join us for a Free Annual Holiday Concert on Dec. 2

The Department of Fine Arts‘ music program will perform their annual holiday concert on Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater. This string, wind, and choral concert will feature music selections from the holiday season.  This concert is free and open to the public.

Rutgers University Singers and local choirs will perform a choral extravaganza on Tuesday, November 27, at 12:45 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater. Rutgers University Singers is under the direction of Dr. Julia Zavadsky. This concert is free and open to the public.

The Department of Fine Arts will host its first concert of the fall season on Saturday, November 10, with the Performance Ensemble performing The RU Project, “MJ vs. Prince.” This free concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Gordon Theater.  The ensemble is directed by JoJo Streater.
