Dr. Joseph C. Schiavo, Teaching Professor of Music in the Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts, will serve the University and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences–Camden as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education, beginning July 1, 2024.
Dr. Schiavo is an alumnus of Rutgers University and has been a member of the faculty since 1991. He has been recognized by his peers for his commitment to his students and service to his colleagues, including leadership within his home department, Faculty Senate, and University-level committees. Dr. Schiavo also previously served in the role of Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education from 2013-19.
