The Department of Economics will host “Speakers from the Business World” on Thursday, November 30th. Rutgers–Camden alumnus Joseph Harris, who works for the Bureau of Labor Statistics and also serves as an economics lecturer, and Dr. Selim Cakmakli, a Visiting Professor in Economics from Cukurova University in Turkey, will be the guest speakers. Mr. Harris will present “From the Rutgers Econ to the BLS” and Dr. Cakmakli will discuss “An Economic Approach to Crises.”
This free event, hosted by the economics department and the Economics Society, is open to all. It will begin at 12:45 p.m. in Armitage Hall, Room 121. Lunch will be served.
