Join the Department of History and the Business History Conference on Friday, April 21, for a symposium centered around the topic of a paper by Dr. Philip Scranton, Board of Governors Professor of History Emeritus, “Managing Communist Enterprise: Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia, 1945-1970.” Dr. Scranton will give a brief presentation about his paper, and then three invited commentaries will follow: from Pál Germuska (European University Institute), Natalya Vinokurova (Wharton), and Lee Vinsel (Stevens Institute of Technology). The final hour is for open discussion.
