Gregory Pardlo and Patrick Rosal, both faculty in the Department of English and the Graduate Creative Writing Program, were named 2017 Guggenheim Fellows.
Gregory Pardlo, an alumnus of Rutgers–Camden, also received the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry and has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He is the author of Traffic, a forthcoming memoir in essays.
Patrick Rosal is the author of four books of poetry, most recently Brooklyn Antediluvian, a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Award.
