March is Women’s History Month, and Rutgers University-Camden has a slew of activities scheduled to celebrate. This year’s theme is “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives.” The first event will take place on Wednesday, March 4th, with readings by students in the MFA Creative Writing Program. Cherita Harrell, Micaiah Johnson, Melanie McNair, and Stacey Seidl will all share work that intersects with the theme. Musical guest Elspeth Tremblay will also perform.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Armitage Hall Faculty Lounge. All are welcome!
This event is sponsored by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and the MFA Creative Writing Graduate Student Organization.
