Cooper Street, the Writers House community workshop series, is now seeking proposals for two workshops to round out the Fall 2024 season.
What are they looking for? Their best workshops are accessible to participants with a wide range of experiences and goals for their writing. Topics have ranged from thematic (political poetry, fiction writing and disability, writing about the immigrant experience) to craft-oriented (writing for video games, flash fiction, comedy writing). They’ve included workshops on practical matters—how to continue writing as a caregiver?—and the business side of writing, including how to market your work and get published in magazines. They offer workshops in-person and virtually, on a one-time or sequential basis.
Whatever idea is burning, they want to hear about it. Send your proposals by July 30.
