The Department of History will begin its Lees Seminar Series for the 2023-2024  academic year on Friday, October 13. The guest speaker is Fred Cochran, a PhD student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Rutgers-Camden alumnus. Mr. Cochran will present, “Why Dreams of the Dead Come Before the Rain: the Diaries of Vladimir Shvets as a Funerary Text.” The comment will be given by Dr. Artemy Kalinovsky of Temple University. 

This in-person event begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 13,  in the first floor seminar room of 429 Cooper Street. A discussion of the paper will be followed by a reception and catered dinner.
