The Department of History will conclude its Lees Seminar Series for the 2022-2023 academic year on Friday, April 14. Kimberly St. Julian-Varnon, PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, will present “The Socialist Lives of Angela Davis: An Afro-Pessimist Reading of Blackness in the Soviet Union.” Dr. Maxim Matusevich of Seton Hall University will offer the comment.
