The Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts will begin its Fall 2022 Visiting Artists’ Program with Partner and Partners, on Thursday, October 20. This lecture series will feature nationally and internationally acclaimed artists present lectures about their work, professional practices, and their perspectives on contemporary art and design.
Partner and Partners is a worker-owned design practice focusing on web, exhibition, print, and identity work with clients and collaborators across a variety of fields and disciplines. Formed in 2013, Partner & Partners consciously seeks projects that promote social and economic justice, and prioritizes groups with actionable visions for a just future.
Partner & Partners have worked with numerous groups, both large and small, and feel that this experience has enabled a perspective that artfully blends user experience, technology, and design in the creation of custom exhibitions, websites, and identities.
The lecture will take place on Thursday, October 20, from 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building, Room 110. This event is free and open to the public.
