The Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts will host Angelic Owens, a Brooklyn-based artist whose work is developed around re-imagined systems of education, communal care, and incubators of memory, on Wednesday, October 5, as part of its ZoomOnArt series. This free event will take place at 11:20 a.m. Registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link.
Artists who are luminaries in their fields Zoom in from other parts of the country and globe. They share with participants images or video shorts of their work and answer questions, and the audience really gets an opportunity to direct the discussion.
