The Health Sciences Program will offer two virtual speaker events this October.

On Tuesday, October 12, Dr. Irene Headen, Assistant Professor of Black Health from the Department of Community Health and Prevention at the Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health, will present “Structural Racism and Maternal Health: Unpacking Systems of Inequity Towards Action.” This event will take place at 1:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, October 19, Medina S. Jackson-Browne, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Epidemiology Program at the University of Delaware, will present “Urinary Biomarkers and Asthma Morbidity in the School Inner-City Asthma Intervention Study.” This event will take place at 12:45 p.m.
