The Electric Cafe Series concludes its spring season on Monday, April 22, with a free concert featuring Dr. Mark Zaki, Associate Professor of Music. A composer and violinist, as well, Dr. Zaki presents a concert of electroacoustic music and video. Featured will be the Rutgers–Camden premiere of “Windows,” a fixed-media video that features the vocal characterizations of Mr. Paul Bernstein, Associate Professor of Theater. The program also includes new pieces for violin, piano, and interactive electronics.
The performance begins at 11:20 a.m. in the Fine Arts Building’s Black Box Theater.
The Electric Cafe Series is sponsored by the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts (RCCA) and the Department of Fine Arts. Dr. Zaki serves as artistic director.
