Colson Whitehead, author of the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Underground Railroad, will give a free public lecture on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater. This event is part of the Rutgers Reads program for incoming students, which connects the reading of a common book to wider cultural conversations across campus and beyond.
Registration is required. To enter the theater, you must have a ticket. Once you register, you will receive instructions on picking up your ticket. There are a limited number of tickets; once the limit is reached, guests will be put on a waiting list. Please contact rutgersreads@camden.rutgers.edu with questions.
This event is sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor, the Office of New Student Programs, and the Department of English and Communication.
