The Visiting Artists’ Program will continue on Monday, November 27th, with a visit by artist Alex Da Corte, a native of Camden.  A 2012 recipient of the Pew Fellowship in the Arts from the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage, Da Corte also earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts and his Master of Fine Arts from the Yale University School of Art.  Da Corte’s solo exhibitions include “Slow Graffiti” at the Secession Building in Vienna, Austria; “A Man Full of Trouble” at Maccarone Gallery in New York; and “50 Wigs” at the Herning Museum of Contemporary Art in Denmark.  Group exhibitions include  showings at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
