In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month, the Women’s and Gender Studies Program will host a film series, screening four films over the course of October.  The first film to be shown is Milk, about the gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly gay person to be elected for office in California, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.  Dr. Shauna Shames, Assistant Professor of Political Science, and Ms. Kathryn Lonczewski, Area Coordinator for Housing and Residence Life, will moderate the discussion.

The screening will take place on Tuesday, October 3rd, at 5 p.m., in the Campus Center’s Executive Meeting Room. All are welcome to this free event.  Light refreshments will be served.
