The Department of Childhood Studies will present its fifth annual lecture on Thursday, February 23rd. Dr. Mary Celeste Kearney, Associate Professor of Film, Television, and Theater at the University of Notre Dame, is the guest speaker. Dr. Kearney’s lecture is titled, “Always Extras? Black Girlhood, U.S. Media, and Girls’ Studies.”
This lecture begins at 4 p.m. in the Law School Faculty Lounge, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend this free event.
