Rutgers–Camden’s celebration of Black History Month continues on Tuesday, February 16th, with a screening of the documentary Black Gold, an award-winning film about the human and material costs of producing and distributing Ethiopian coffee within the global economy.  A panel discussion will follow the film.  Panelists include Israel Mansaray, a Rutgers–Camden student–activist; Dr. Benjamin Talton, Associate Professor of History at Temple University; and Dr. Lee Cassanelli, Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania.     

This free event, which is open to all, begins at 6 p.m. in Penn 401. This event is sponsored by the Africana Studies program.
