On Tuesday, November 17th, join us for the dedication of the Writers’ House, which will be home to the MFA program, Department of English, and guest writers.  The building, located at 305 Cooper Street, was built in 1885 and is historically known as the Henry Genet Taylor House.  It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The ribbon-cutting will take place at 11 a.m., and will be immediately followed by tours of the building.  From 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., there will be an Open House Wine and Cheese Reception for those that are 21 and older.  Registration is required for all events.
