The Paul Robeson Library is hosting a “Women and Comics” exhibit from now until April 30th.  Dr. Robert Emmons, Associate Director of the Digital Studies Center, has loaned personal belongings, such as oversize illustrated novels and anthologies to the exhibit.  Additionally, the exhibit will feature vintage editions of books documenting the history of comic books and the role and depictions of women in cartoons, and original Japanese manga and scholarly books discussing anime, manga, and feminism in cartoons.  These displays can be found in both the library’s front entrance and lobby.
