The Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE) and the Digital Studies Center will continue their Metropolitan and Urban Issues Film Series on Friday, October 31st.  Join the group for a screening of the film The Garden (2008), which chronicles the story of a community garden in Los Angeles that began after the LA riots and is now in jeopardy.  Mike Devlin, Executive Director, and Nohemi Soria, USDA Community Food Access Manager, from the Camden Children’s Garden will lead a discussion after the film.

The event begins at noon in the Armitage Hall Faculty Lounge.  Lunch will be served.  All are welcome.
