The Fairy Queen

Rutgers-Camden’s theater and music programs will present Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, a musical inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  

Evening performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, in the Walter K. Gordon Theater on the Rutgers–Camden campus. There will also be a special high school matinee performance on Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m., and a matinee performance on Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for general admission; $10 for senior citizens, faculty, staff, and alumni; and $7 for non-Rutgers students with a valid ID. Rutgers–Camden students may obtain two tickets free of charge at the Impact Booth in the Campus Center with their Rutgers University ID.

A block of tickets will be available starting Monday, April 21st, at the Impact Booth for the Thursday morning performance (10:00 am 4/24) of The Fairy Queen. All seats for this performance will be $7, free for Rutgers-Camden students with ID.
