Prof. JILL CAPUZZO has been appointed to the full-time position of assistant instructor in the Department of English. Her courses will reflect the department’s re-configuration of its journalism program from print to digital media. She will continue to work as a staffer for The New York Times, where she writes for the Real Estate section.
Dr. WENDELL PRITCHETT (chancellor) has been named by the Philadelphia Tribune as a Leader in the Philadelphia Region. His honor will be acknowledged in the Sept. 16 edition of the publication, which is one of the nation’s oldest African American media outlets.
Dr. ALAN TARR (professor II, CFAS-political science and director, Center for State Constitutional Studies) has authored a new book, Without Fear or Favor: Judicial Independence and Judicial Accountability in the States (Stanford University Press).
