Dean’s Scholarship
Scholarship support from alumni helps with the burden of tuition costs. The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences offers current students* various scholarships.
Important information:
- Scholarships below are based on academic merit (must have a 3.0 or above Rutgers* GPA) and need, as determined by the Financial Aid requirements
- If you are chosen to receive the scholarship, the Dean’s Office will notify you directly
- Recipients of the scholarships are expected to write a thank-you letter to the donor and also attend a dinner honoring the donors.
*Students should be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences full time and demonstrate merit and need as determined by the financial aid office. Students must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA received through coursework at Rutgers.

Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Camden College of Arts and Sciences based on financial needs. - Leland Bulter Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Camden College of Arts and Sciences based on financial needs. - Donal C. Tilton and Angela Steele Tilton Clark Endowment for Arts and Sciences
Full-time Camden College Arts & Sciences students on the Camden Campus are selected based on merit and financial need. - Saul and Consuelo Diaz Scholarship
This award aims to provide financial assistance to students at Rutgers-Camden enrolled in either the Camden College of Arts and Sciences or University College Camden based on academic merit, with preference to students from minority groups underrepresented in the undergraduate population at Rutgers-Camden. - Earl & Margaret Evans Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships are to be awarded to full-time undergraduate students based on academic merit and financial need as determined by university rules in effect on the date of the award. Scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Urban Studies, or Education. Recipients must also demonstrate an interest in public service. Any number of scholarships in any amount may be made each year, up to the amount of fund income available for spending. Awards may be renewed up to 3 years (4 if in a 5 year program.) - Edward and Deborah Spell Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students based on academic merit and financial need. - Jack and Mary O’Malley Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to full-time undergraduate students or full-time graduate students at Camden. Also supports programs such as the Honors College and International Studies at Camden College Arts and Sciences. - Julie C. and Gregory Pukas
Full-Time Camden College Arts & Sciences students based on financial need and academic merit – Can be awarded up to three years. - Osher Reentry Scholarship
This account aims to provide scholarships to students who have experienced a cumulative gap in their education of at least five years and anticipate participation in the workforce for a significant period of time after graduation. Scholarships are to be used exclusively for tuition. - The More Family Scholarship
Scholarship recipients are among full- or part-time undergraduate students who have been removed from high school for at least three years and are in their junior or senior year at the College of Arts and Sciences or University College in Camden. Scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in one of the following departments: physics, chemistry, biology, biomedical technology, nursing, mathematics, psychology, or teacher preparation based on academic merit and financial need. - The Watson Family Scholarship
Students from the City of Camden can receive additional financial support, which can be renewed up to one year.
