Consistent with CCAS policies, all faculty appointment contracts will reflect the 2-2 teaching load of Tenure-Track and the 4-4 teaching load of full-time Non-Tenure-Track faculty members. Any teaching load reductions, such as for administrative roles, will be negotiated separately from the contract process and documented in writing separately from the contract. These potential reductions in teaching load will be determined by mutual agreement of the faculty member, the chair, and the dean. In any cases in which there is disagreement about the appropriate teaching reduction for a given administrative role, the dean will make the final determination.
