The Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE) and the Digital Studies Center (DSC) will host the last event of their Film and Discussion Series Exploring Metropolitan and Urban Issues on Friday, December 19th. Do the Right Thing (1989), a film that takes place in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn and shows how hate and bigotry can explode into violence, will be shown. Dr. Robert Emmons, Associate Director of the DSC and a documentary filmmaker, will be the guest speaker.
The event is scheduled from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. in the Armitage Hall Faculty Lounge. All are welcome. Lunch will be served.
