The Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE) and the Digital Studies Center (DSC) have teamed up to present a film and discussion series which will explore metropolitan and urban issues. The first event is scheduled for Friday, September 26th, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. The documentary American Winter (2013), which chronicles the personal stories of families struggling in the aftermath of the worse economic crisis since the Great Depression, will be screened. After the viewing, Joe Willard, Vice President of Policy for the People’s Emergency Center, will discuss the film.
This event is free and open to the public. The event will be held in the Armitage Hall Faculty Lounge (third floor). Lunch will be served.
