Susan L. Taylor, Founder and CEO of the National Cares Mentoring Movement and the Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Essence Magazine, will give the Ida B. Wells Keynote Lecture as the official kick-off to Black History Month. This event will take place on Monday, February 5, 2024 in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room, with the lecture at 4:30 p.m. and the reception immediately following at 5:30 p.m. The theme of the lecture is “The Influence of Black Media in American Culture.” Registration is required.
