The Writers House will Host “In Conversation with Leah Falk” on Nov. 6

In conversation with the Gender Studies Program and the Department of Philosophy and Religion, the Writers House welcomes poet Leah Falk, who will be reading from and discussing her new book, Other Customs and Practices. This collection uses a century-old questionnaire about Jewish life in the Pale of Settlement as a departure point for meditations on pregnancy, new motherhood, American Jewish identity, isolation during the pandemic, and more.

In Conversation is a brown-bag, salon-style series dedicated to highlighting creative work that spans multiple disciplines.
