The Department of Mathematical Sciences will host Dr. Karen Walkinshaw, Senior Lead Education of Curriculum for Mathematics and Sciences of Camden City School District (CCSD), and Ms. Raushann Austin, CCSD Human Resources Department, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, for a seminar called “Exploring Careers in Mathematics: Becoming a Teacher.” Dr. Walkinshaw will share her experiences in the classroom and Ms. Austin will discuss the hiring process.
Information about both the Master of Arts in Teaching program and the Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics – Teaching Track will be disseminated, as well.
This free seminar will take place on Thursday, November 3, from 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. in BSB 132. Please register with Ms. Sangeetha Maheshwari by Friday, October 31. Lunch will be served.
