The Electric Cafe Series concludes its fall season on Tuesday, November 12, with a free concert featuring the Electronic Ensemble of Wayne State (EMEWS). This ensemble from Wayne State University in Michigan features a repertoire that includes a quartet for game controllers, a pizza–themed piano concerto with laptop orchestra, ambient music inspired by fireflies, and a drum machine trio.
The performance begins at 12:45 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building’s Black Box Theater.
The Electric Cafe Series is sponsored by the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts (RCCA) and the Department of Fine Arts. Dr. Mark Zaki, Associate Professor of Music, serves as artistic director.
