The Writers House will continue its 2018-2019 Writers in Camden series on Wednesday, October 17, with a reading by Melissa Febos. This event is part of LGBTQIA+ History Month.
Melissa Febos is the author of the memoir Whip Smart and the essay collection Abandon Me. Her second essay collection, Girlhood, will be published in 2019. She is an associate professor of creative writing at Monmouth University. Ms. Febos has received fellowships and prizes from places such as LAMBDA Literary, the MacDowell Colony, Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference, and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, among others.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Campus Center’s West ABC Conference Room. This event is free and open to the public; registration is required.
