The Department of Public Policy and Administration‘s Brown Bag Series will take place on Thursday, October 11, with guest speaker Tom Dahan, a Ph.D. student in Public Affairs/Community Development and director of Student Academic Success. Mr. Dahan will present, “Higher Education Community Engagement and Place Effects.” This free event will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the first floor computer lab located at 321 Cooper Street. Guests are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy the presentation.

“This paper contributes to the discussion that community characteristics influence children’s mobility outcomes by introducing new data regarding the density of colleges and universities that are members of the Campus Compact, a consortium of higher education institutions committed to promoting public and community service.”
