The Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE) will host its last seminar of the fall semester on Friday, December 16th. Dr. Mark Krasovic, Assistant Professor of History and American Studies, and the interim director of the Clement A. Price Institute on Ethnicity, Culture, and the Modern Experience at Rutgers University–Newark, will be the guest speaker. Dr. Krasovic will present, “Granting American Urban Culture in the Great Society,” which will examine various federal programs begun in the 1960s.
The program begins at 12:15 p.m. and will take place in the Armitage Hall Faculty Lounge. All are welcome to this free event. Lunch will be served.
