The Women’s and Gender Studies program is co-sponsoring the “Becoming Visible: Helping LGBTQ Youth in Crisis” training on Thursday, September 18th, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the South ABC Conference Room of the Campus Center. The program includes a presentation by Dr. Caitlin Ryan, a nationally recognized expert on LGBTQ youth, an LGBTQ cultural competency training, and two expert panel discussions on juvenile justice and children’s welfare systems. This event is free and open to the public.
