On Wednesday, January 29th, cartoonist and graphic novelist Chris Ware will be the guest of honor at the Writers in Camden Series. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.
Chris Ware is one of the leading cartoonists and graphic novelists working today. A frequent contributor to The New Yorker, Ware was the cartoonist chosen to inaugurate the New York Times Magazine’s “Funny Pages” section in late 2005. His most recent book, Building Stories, was a New York Times Top 10 Book of the Year, and was also, amongst other honors, awarded four Eisner Awards. He is currently at work on a long-form graphic novel, Rusty Brown.
