The Community Leadership Council (CLC) will present Rutgers-Camden’s first Hispanic Heritage Day on Friday, November 1st, starting with a panel presentation at 10 a.m., and lunch and dialogue at 12 p.m. The event will be held in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.
The panel topic is “Latino Americans and How Their Legacy Has Shaped the Nation.” The featured speakers are three faculty members from the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus: Dr. Yolanda Martinez –San Miguel, Professor at the Department of Hispanic Caribbean Studies; Dr. Benjamin Sifuentes-Jauregui, Professor at the Department of American Studies; and, and Dr. Nelson Maldonado-Torres, Professor with the Department of Comparative Literature.
