Student Honors
Phi Beta Kappa
Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest and most prestigious honor society. To be inducted a student must have accomplishments that extend well beyond the achievement of a very high grade point average. An inductee has exhibited expertise in advanced study of a foreign language, breadth of course work in multiple areas of the liberal arts, including proficiency in mathematics, and a major (or second major) in a traditional "academic" (that is, non-applied and non-professional) liberal arts discipline.
Alpha Sigma Lambda, Gamma Xi
Alpha Sigma Lambda has been a proud Rutgers-Camden tradition since its
inception in 1982. The members are elected from among the best scholars
in the upper classes of University College. Membership is based on grade
point average and credits earned in University College.
Athenaeum
Athenaeum has been a proud Rutgers-Camden tradition since its inception in 1952. The members are elected from among the best scholars in the upper classes of the College of Arts and Sciences. Membership is based on grade point average and credits earned in CCAS.

Omicron Delta Epsilon
Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world's largest academic honor societies. The objectives of Omicron Delta Epsilon are recognition of scholastic attainment and the honoring of outstanding achievements in economics; the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty in economics within colleges and universities, and among colleges and universities; the publication of its official journal, The American Economist, and sponsoring of panels at professional meetings as well as the Irving Fisher and Frank W. Pi Sigma Alpha
Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college students of political science and government in the United States. Psi Chi
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi's sister honor society is Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges.
