On Friday, March 25th, the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and the Community Leadership Center will host a one-day conference celebrating Women’s History Month. The conference’s theme is “Disrupting Power and Privilege to Empower Women.” Dr. Christine Ortiz, Morris Cohen Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and the Dean for Graduate Education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will be the keynote speaker.
Registration is required for this event. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the Campus Center and in the Fine Arts Building’s Stedman Gallery.
