Rutgers University is celebrating its first Giving Day on Tuesday, December 1st.  This university-wide, 24-hour online fundraising event is an exciting opportunity for alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to come together and make an impact by giving through Rutgers.

You can help make our first-ever Rutgers Giving Day a rousing success by making a donation of any amount, at any time on December 1st, at GivingDay.Rutgers.edu. You can direct your gift toward Arts and Sciences’ schools or programs—you’ll find several options within the secure online giving form, including Camden College of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School, the Honors College, and the Center for the Arts, among others—as there is some friendly competition for challenge funds at stake. The greater the number of donations directed to the area of your choice, the higher the percentage of challenge funds that area will be awarded.

One other way you can take part in Rutgers Giving Day is by spreading the word on social media. Tag any post or tweet (or re-post or re-tweet) with #RUGivingDay, and you’ll help show the world what the Rutgers community can accomplish when it unites for a common cause.
