The campus community is invited to join in a celebration of Rutgers University’s 250th anniversary on Tuesday, November 10th, at 12:20 p.m. in the Campus Center’s main lounge.  This event is the kick-off of an exciting year in which we will celebrate this monumental milestone.

As the sun sets on Nov. 10, 2015, our host community will be awash in scarlet.  In honor of Rutgers’ 250th anniversary, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and Camden City Hall will be lit in red light for the night; while the bridge will be illuminated in red only for the night of Nov. 10, City Hall will be lit from Nov. 6 to 13.  Here on campus, the Gateway glass sculpture at Fourth and Cooper Sts. also will be adorned in scarlet light for the week.  Chancellor Haddon encourages you to share your photos of these Rutgers-themed locations on our social media channels.
